The year 2020 has passed by quickly, we are on our 56th episode and already in the last week of 2020. Our guest this week is another Entrepreneur Parent.
In July we started the monthly series with guests who started a business post becoming parents. We have a variety of guests who have shared their entrepreneurship journey, starting with Vijay Basrur (Oklisten), Meghana Narayan and Shauravi Malik (Slurrp Farm), Shradha Sud (Mama Couture) and Aswani Chaitanya (Timios)
In our latest and last episode of “Enterpreneur Parents” of 2020 we are chatting with Sanjay Chakrabarti, Founding Partner of Tag8, a company that helps you find and return of misplaced or lost valuables.
It is rare to see an entrepreneur who has started a venture on the other side of 40 years. Usually you hear of stories where people have founded a start-up in their early 20s or 30s. But then you have someone like a Sanjay who comes from a solid employment background and gives it all up for a chance to start his own business.
Some of the topics we spoke about:
1. The journey towards entrepreneurship and leaving a lucrative job and comforts
2. The difficulties and hurdles
3. The advise he received
4. The pressure of coming from a family of highly-educated members
5. Giving up a childhood dream
6. technology and kids
Do have a listen to the full episode here or you can listen to it on any podcast platform that you use, we are available everywhere, including Saregama Carvaan on channel 269.
